Fabian Borg had the opportunity to present the Malta Climate Change Heat Severity App (found here: https://arcg.is/HTWSf ) and discuss the impacts of climate change in Malta. He also had the chance to meet like-minded individuals. The event provided an opportunity to assess the risks associated with climate change and discuss vulnerability and adaptation. Additionally, it was interesting to review various initiatives taken at the sub-national level across Europe.
The group visited the Water Lab (photo), where river flow simulations are held, including the testing of more efficient hydropower systems.
