A first of the Local Government of Malta, the Research Innovation Unit of the Gzira Local Council took part in the virtual fair of the European Union Committee of the Regions (CoR) 9th Summit which was held in Marseille between the 3rd and the 4th of March 2022.
The 9th Summit held in Marseille was held online due to the health limitations imposed due to the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic. The Summit aimed at increasing the impact and outreach of the Conference on the Future of Europe.

The issues of Climate Crise and the objectives to achieve the EU Green Deal were the topics of the RIU’s virtual booth. The virtual fair was available online between 18 February and 18 March 2022.
